WRITING


An interview.
Police officer: What time were you playing in the park.
Marc: It was about ten o'clock in the evening.
Police officer: What did you see?
Marc: I saw a boy.
Police officer: What as he doing?
Marc: He was spraying graffiti.
Police officer: What did they look like?
Marc: He had tall and he was wearing a cap. He was slim and he was wearing young, blue t-shirt and blue trousers.
Police officer: Thank you. That's very helpful.

Talking about preferences

Ferrer: Where do you what to go and holiday this summer?
Nogué: Er, I know, let's go to Bagdad!
Ferrer: Bagdad? I'd reather go to Burkina Faso.
Nogué: But it's hot there. Why cant we go to the beach.
Ferrer: We could stay at a campsite.
Nogué: No, i don't like that idea.
Ferrer: Well, how do you fancy staying in a safari.
Nogué: Yeah, that's a great idea. We've never stayed in a safari.

Asking for and giving advice:

Nogué: Hey, Ferrer. Are you OK?
Ferrer: No, I don't feel very well.
Nogué: Why, what's wrong.
Ferrer: I've got a stmocache.
Nogué: Have you taken an aspirin?
Ferrer: Yes, i have but I still feel terrible.
Nogué: Well, you should tell the teacher. You really shouldn't do P.E.
Ferrer: Yes, I suppose you're right.
